Immunisation
We listen to your preferences regarding immunisations and give you guidance and the latest scientific and research information to help you make informed choices.
Immunisations offered at Viveka include all standard childhood vaccines, which typically start in the first year of life. We give a full list is on the baby immunisation pages.
We also provide Cervirax HPV vaccine for girls age 11-15 to offer protection against cervical cancer. Dr Rashna Chenoy works sensitively with teenage girls, and may combine vaccination with a gynaecology and sexual health chat (see newsletter July 2008 ).
Complementary therapy is increasingly being asked for by parents as a support (see Feb 2009 newsletter ) during early immunisation programmes. On its own, complementary therapy does not provide immunisation. If you would like to omit one or more immunisations we will respect your choice and help you use complementary measures to strengthen the immune system.
