Immunisation

We listen to your preferences regarding immunisations and give you guidance and the latest scientific and research information to help you make informed choices.

Standard childhood vaccines typically start in the first year of life. We give a full list on the baby immunisation pages of this site.We offer you advice, can refer you to a specialist paeditrician, and provide support from complementary therapy if you would like this.

We provide Cervirax HPV vaccine for girls age 11-15 to offer protection against cervical cancer. Dr Rashna Chenoy works sensitively with teenage girls, and may combine vaccination with a gynaecology and sexual health chat (see newsletter July 2008).

Complementary therapy is increasingly being asked for by parents as a support (see Feb 2009 newsletter) during immunisation programmes. On its own, complementary therapy does not provide immunisation; but we are happy to help you use complementary measures to strengthen the immune system.
