Pilates in Pregnancy
Pilates connects mind and body, working to strengthen your body physically whilst promoting relaxation. Both aspects are invaluable in pregnancy, and if you learn the skills now, they will help you through the birthing process and afterwards as your body recovers, and you care for your baby.
Pilates will help you to adapt to the changes in your body and it will train and strengthen your pelvic floor and deep core abdominal muscles, which are central to labour and birth. Regular practice now will lay foundations for your return to 'pre-pregnancy’ physique after birth, and can help prevent complications such as urinary incontinence and prolapse.
Thursdays from 6.30-7.20pm.
£11; pay as you go, or pay £40 for 4 sessions.
