Emotions

Being human means having emotions: your feelings affect your outlook, moods, behaviour and relationships. Your emotions also affect your body, through the flow of hormonal messages, electrical impulses, heart beat and more; at the same time, what happens in your body influences the way you feel emotionally. At Viveka we refer to this as your bodymind health.

So many of our emotions are unconscious and at Viveka we use complementary therapies together with counselling and psychotherapy help to bring your emotions and feelings to the surface. We make sure this happens in a safe, non judgmental and supporting environment. This encourages you to feel balanced; helps to release blocks and to heal physical or emotional trauma; and it nurtures you to accept and love yourself.
