Pain

Pain is your body’s way of telling you that something is out of balance. It is a request for rest and healing, and sometimes for change. Pain may have its roots in a past or recent injury or illness; it could be caused by dysfunction in one or more of your internal organs; or it may be a physical manifestation of unsettled emotions.

Diagnosis is an important element of your care: it considers your history of pain, how it changes and how you feel emotionally. Physical examination and ultrasound scanning may give important information. The treatment that’s best for you depends on your personal sensitivity, the severity of your pain, how long it has been going on, and any underlying cause(s).

Our integrated approach to your health and wellbeing means that you can choose a standalone treatment or a combination from our medical specialists and complementary therapists according to your unique needs and sensitivity to pain.
