Baby Yoga
All babies are natural 'yogis', able to bend and stretch and naturally move to relax their bodies. Baby yoga is an extension of baby massage and is a great support for your baby's development, digestion, nervous system and flexibility. Baby Yoga classes are suitable for babies from 3 months old: we welcome mums and dads.
These classes, run in a 4-week course, are led by Karen Eichhorn, an experienced midwife and baby massage teacher. She will help you understand how your baby naturally curls and stretches into a variety of postures that strengthen muscles and encourage co-ordination.
A central theme of Karen's classes is always relaxation - for parents and for babies. For parents, this is not only an important part of baby yoga in action, it also helps you to cope with the demands of a young baby, and preserve your energy through each day.
Classes are timed so you can also attend Ann's postnatal group if you'd like to.
