Yoga

Yoga is fun, relaxing, revitalising and excellent for your health. It is also philosophical and deeply spiritual. It has been practised for at least five thousand years yet its fundamental principles remain unchanged. Yoga is based on an ancient indian philosophy of balance in thought, lifestyle and diet. Yoga can help improve your posture, circulation, energy, flexibility and strength. The breathing and meditation techniques can provide stability and a feeling of personal freedom that can help you stay afloat when life becomes challenging.

Postures called ‘asanas’ stretch, tone and strengthen your body, promoting immunity, relieving symptoms of illness and supporting your general health. We hold classes in our meeting hall where you will receive individual advice and where the postures can be modified according to your needs.

You can practice yoga at Viveka while undergoing medical or complementary treatments or you might choose it as a stand-alone boost for your life and wellbeing.
